Build your own design knifemaking course (one on one class)

wanna make your own knife? of your own design? we got you!

Your instructor will be Dominic, who has been a fulltime knifemaker since 2014 and has made 1000's of knives

This is a two day course where we will build one custom knife of your own design

LOCATION: Bayswater North, Victoria, 3153, Australia

This course covers
- Surface grinding
- safe and accurate drilling
- profile cleanup
- fixture grinding/freehand bevel grinding
- proper grinding posture
- disk grinding
- heat treating
- proper glue up
- handle grinding
- finishing and engraving

you will walk away with a your own knife, engraved with your name to show the world who made it

you will be provided with ppe (respirator, glasses, ear muffs, gloves and apron)

must provide your own lunch for both days

we will work 9 - 5pm on both days. But we may finish early or stay late depending how the day goes.

If finding a free weekend is difficult for you we can split up the 2 days over a fortnight

under 18's must be accompanied by an adult

If you would like to do a weekday course or want to book two people contact me. you can also pay half now and half 14 days before the course if you choose

You will be required to sign a legal liability waiver on the day.
