On the first weekend of every month we will be holding a public hands on knifemaking class. Open to anyone with a maximum of three students per class

Your instructor will be Dominic, who has been a fulltime knifemaker since 2014 and has made 1000's of knives

This is a two day course where you can build your very own designed custom knife. Almost anything with a 260mm overall size works. Full tang construction and carbon steel

Handles materials, pin stock, blade finishes, etc are all custom options that can be picked out on the day

This course covers
- Surface grinding
- safe and accurate drilling
- profile cleanup
- fixture grinding/freehand bevel grinding
- proper grinding posture
- disk grinding
- heat treating
- proper glue up
- handle grinding
- finishing and engraving

you will walk away with your own knife, engraved with your name to show the world who made it

you will be provided with ppe (respirator, glasses, ear muffs, gloves and apron)

must provide your own lunch for both days

we will work 9 - 5pm on both days. But we may finish early or stay late depending how the day goes.

under 18's must be accompanied by an adult

You will be required to sign a legal liability waiver on the day.
